Chelsea Monroe




Chelsea Monroe graduated from Texas A&M University in 2007 with a Bachelor of Science degree in Sports Management and a minor in Business. Chelsea was a three-time high school All-State recipient and received Most Valuable Player at the Texas Girls Coaches Association’s All-Star (East v. West) Volleyball Game. As a senior, Chelsea received a full athletic scholarship from Sam Houston State University. She played at SHSU before transferring to Blinn College in Brenham, Texas. While at Blinn, she led the Buccaneers to a 43-2 season, earned NJCAA’s 1st Team All-American, and was awarded team MVP. Chelsea received her Associate’s Degree from Blinn College and moved to College Station to complete her education at Texas A&M. Chelsea married her husband, Jerry Monroe, in 2008 and they have three young boys (Jackson, Brux, and Elijah). Chelsea has been the owner of Xcel Volleyball Club since it’s inception date in 2006.
