Bio

Morgan Janda is from Katy, Texas where she was a standout setter at Seven Lakes High School. She received 2 all district awards along with 2017 GHCVA Setter of the Year, 2018 District MVP, and numerous all state awards. In 2017, she led her team to the state tournament where they finished second place. Morgan completed her undergraduate studies at Sam Houston State University where she made an immediate impact on the volleyball team as well as the track team. On the court, she was a 2 time second team All-Conference selection and a All Tournament selection at the Southland Conference Tournament. She helped lead the Bearkats to a regular season WAC title in 2021, where she recorded a career high 58 assists. On the field, Morgan placed fourth in the women’s high jump at the WAC Outdoor Conference Meet. Morgan currently is getting her masters degree in Sports and Fitness Administration at the University of Houston. In the 2022 season, Morgan helped lead the Cougars to their longest win streak in program history, to a share of the American Athletic Conference title, and to a historic run to the Sweet Sixteen.
